Bakuriani is one of the best places. Number of good hotels really. comfortable with professional polite personnel.

Bakuriani is a good place but Gudauri is much better for skiing.

The suggestions can be several, depending on what traveller really likes to see or experience.
For skiing Gudauri is the best option, Bakuriani also works as second/alternative option.
Winter resorts are many in Georgia and for family holidays Borjomi is also good.

No one yet discussed to experience Racha and Svaneti in winter. Due to transportation problems Svaneti may be difficult to access, but it's worth to see the winter beauty of its high mountain villages. Racha is easily accesseable and therefore can host tourists in winters - these are good opportunities for rural tourism lovers.

I have thought and decided to go to Svaneti this winter for couple of days. As well, to Gudauri for maybe a week.

So, wait for my report ;-)
